WI-FI RADIATION COULD HARM PLANTS
Scientists from Wageningen University in Netherlands found that technologies using wireless networks, or Wi-Fi, may harm plants. When scientists exposed ash trees and other plants to radiation of 100 MW in the 2,412 to 2,472 MHz frequency range (amounts typical of Wi-Fi) for more than three months, the outer layers of the leaves developed a metallic luster and began to die off. The trees closest to Wi-FI source sustained the most damage.
